Dear Nida,
In Material master different,different data is stored in different,different tables.
PFA image for the list of tables of the MM .
What you can do is, you can build a quick viewer query(T.Code: SQVI) joining the tables( based on the data) & pull the data from that report.
It may have number of entries restriction (let us say 10000 records can be extracted from the dump once), depending on that you need to get the dump.

Select your Search Object -> Actions -> Schedule Indexing
Set Start immed. Flag click on ok and try it again.

We are getting the above mentioned error when we try to logon to MDM Repository .
We checked in the console and said repository is not present in the server also .

Re: MDM system is extremely slow
Hi Puneet, Lately we too encountered this issue , but this occurred only in production environment.I rectified it by doing the following. I took a restart of the MDS server which solved major part of the issue and followed the note 1810026. Hope this helps, Kindly let us know how it worked for you and as murali suggested could u let us know weather this is observerd only in MDM Dev , Quality , Prod or on a single server. Posting an advance to vendor vide f-58, document entry shows one vendor & table is updated with different vendor

While making an advance payment to vendor, the Header is entered, bank posting details are entered, when it comes to Payee an vendor 123 is choosen in Paid items Special GL "A" is choosen since this is an advance payment
Process open items is clicked, and we are not choosing any thing from the list. So when we simulate now there is only one the banking part. We proceed to key in the vendor part manually and a wrong vendor is typed for example vendor 456
Result :
1) Entry simulated and saved as 456 vide document no. 10001
2) Where the payment details captured in tables REGUH for the same document no. 10001 is for the first typed vendor 123
3) Payment has been done to vendor 123

I have problem.
I need get Lookup value from Tuple on ItemDetails webdynpro component (see attachment).
I have this code
addressValue= wdThis.wdGetCRequestItemDetailsInterface().getFieldValue("CO_AddressLegal");
TupleValue addressTuple = (TupleValue)addressValue;
TupleDefinitionSchema tds = addressTuple.getMetadata();
But variable tds is NULL.
method addressTuple.findLookupRecords(fields[1]) also raise exception
java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method com.sap.mdm.schema.TupleDefinitionSchema.getField(com.sap.mdm.ids.FieldId) of a null object loaded from field com.sap.mdm.internal.valuetypes.TupleValueImpl.schema of an object loaded from local variable 'this'
What's my mistake? How can i get value for this field?

MDM for SRM catalog best maintenance practices
Hello,
We currently have SAP MDM 7.1.08 installed and are moving to 7.1.14 shortly. We use this with SAP SRM 7.0 (which will be SRM 7.3 soon as well). Currently we 105,000+ items in MDM used for SRM-EBP catalogs for indirect purchasing. When we implemented MDM 5+ years ago we decided to use the Excel spreadsheet maintenance method. This worked for awhile but recently has been time consuming and not very user friendly to use. We also have data integrity issues because of this. Also, due to some recent changes we have fairly large catalogs that can take awhile to upload (10,000 items).
I wanted to ask what people do for best maintenance practices. Is there an easier way than what we are doing today? What do other people do to maintain their data?
Any help you can provide would be great!

My name is Rohit,
I am MCS (Computer Science) technical degree holder.
I have some questions regarding SAP modules.
My area of interest is SAP ABAP Technical module & also have completed SAP ABAP course from local institute.
initially i was searching for SAP ABAP jobs but i didn't get it,
luckly now i joined domestic firm as a SAP MDM (Master Data Management) consultant.
Is SAP MDM is Technical or Functional module or both?
i have searched on internet, it's showing both (Technical & Functional) module.
What is the scope of SAP MDM in future?
Is there any certification / Course for SAP MDM?
Some people say SAP MDM is only End user type of job,
Everything is structured & you have to just upload data into SAP system perfectly.
There is no much scope for SAP MDM.
As compare to other SAP modules it is less salary paid.
I have chance to move from SAP MDM to SAP ABAP in my current company.
Please help me to get right decision about SAP modules.

Customize default user type in pricelists tab (USMM)
Hello there,
i was asked weather the default user type in the USMM (price lists tab) can be changed?
Is this value defined by the pricelist, which was migrated at the beginning (can this only be done once?)?
Problem:
Everytime a user gets created, he gets a wrong user type. Those users need to be corrected manually.
Question:
Where can I change this default user type setting?
